Our client is looking for an optimistic, committed, and motivated candidate who has at least 5 years of experience with pest control. This job will require traveling from one ranch to another which will require a valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
Duties / Responsibilities:
· Responsible for finding insects, diseases, weeds and other organisms along with implementing IPM programs and writing recommendations
· Monitor and scout fields for economic thresholds
· Evaluate chemical efficacy in fields
· Correctly use chemicals for maximum fruit quality
· Communicate with ranch managers to coordinate pesticide applications · Comply with California Department of Pesticide Regulations
· Order chemicals and keep inventory up to date
· Manage field scouts
· Coordinate pest control operations
Required Skills / Abilities:
· Must have a clean driving record
· BS in Ag or plant science preferred
· Must be able to follow our Fleet Safety Program and Policies
· Valid PCA license Physical Requirements
Pay offered/ Benefits
· $85,000 to $95,000 annually
