Foodservice General Manager - Nevada

Summary:

• A well-established Foodservice Distributor in Nevada is adding a talented GM to head up facility operations and growth initiatives.
• This role will oversee all aspects of the business, with strong support from the corporate office.

• In addition to full benefits, (health insurance, 401K plan, etc.) this role also has annual bonus potential of up to 30% of base salary.
• Target range for starting salary is $140k - $175k, depending on experience.
• This position is based in Nevada, with relocation assistance available. (Call or apply for specific location)

Position Responsibilities Include

• Accountable for general mgt of operation: Production, Quality Assurance, Inventory, Sanitation, Maintenance, Fulfillment, AR and AP.
• Monitor and control all costs associated with the operation including: facility, equipment, production, supplies, and transportation.
• Ultimate responsibility for national accounts serviced in the region and work closely with facility Sales Manager to increase sales and profitability.
• Work closely with Corporate Quality Assurance Team to ensure compliance with internal procedures and external third-party audits on a regular basis while also ensuring all areas follow OSHA guidelines and Primus requirements.

  Position Requirements

• Previous mgt experience within the perishable food industry is required.
• knowledge of foodservice markets and supply chain dynamics.
• Strong business acumen and negotiating skill set.
• Thorough understanding of all warehouse and distribution departments.
• College degree (B.A. /B.S.) in related fields of study required, post graduate degree preferred.
