A fast-growing leading supplier of innovative packaging solutions is searching for a Business Development Manager to join their team. Our client is a well-funded company in high- growth mode.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Increase revenue.
- Provide “Best of Class” account management both externally to the customer and internally.
- Grow the number of customers aligned with our client’s mission and marketing strategies.
- Forecasting and Inventory Management.
- Quarterly demand planning of stock inventories.
- Monthly monitoring of custom product inventories.
- Annual budgeting and monthly review of sales performance to plan.
- Trade Show participation.
- 20% travel depending on season.
- Key Performance Indicators
- Dollar and Unit volume performance to budget
- New Account Development
- Inventory Management
- Profitability
Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of sales experience in packaging, fresh produce or fresh flowers strongly preferred.
- Experience selling to National & Regional Retail Accounts/Chains as well as produce growers.
- Ability to utilize data for forecasting and reporting.
- CPG sales experience is a plus.
- Previous inventory management experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree desired, Master’s degree a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) Mandatory.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
