A fast-growing leading supplier of innovative packaging solutions is searching for a Business Development Manager to join their team. Our client is a well-funded company in high- growth mode.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Increase revenue.
  • Provide “Best of Class” account management both externally to the customer and internally.
  • Grow the number of customers aligned with our client’s mission and marketing strategies.
  • Forecasting and Inventory Management.
  • Quarterly demand planning of stock inventories.
  • Monthly monitoring of custom product inventories.
  • Annual budgeting and monthly review of sales performance to plan.
  • Trade Show participation.
  • 20% travel depending on season.
  • Key Performance Indicators
    • Dollar and Unit volume performance to budget
    • New Account Development
    • Inventory Management
    • Profitability

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of sales experience in packaging, fresh produce or fresh flowers strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling to National & Regional Retail Accounts/Chains as well as produce growers.
  • Ability to utilize data for forecasting and reporting.
  • CPG sales experience is a plus.
  • Previous inventory management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree desired, Master’s degree a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) Mandatory.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
