A well-established produce distributor is searching for a VP of Operations to join their team. The position is responsible for the effective operation of the Shipping, Receiving, Transportation, Quality, Production and Facility departments. In this role you will successfully lead all facets of human capital management, performance/productivity, operating expense reduction and process improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lead and develop people, build winning teams, and deploy learning opportunities that ultimate help people find the best version of themselves.
· Review and direct staffing plans to maximize productivity levels and minimize operating expenses.
· Adhere to budget requirements and improve efficiencies within the warehouse & fleet operations.
· Deliver strategic plans, continually revise and deploy SOPs, keep us relevant with customer demand and emerging ways of doing business.
· Establish, benchmark, measure and improve all operational KPIs.
· Work as an active member of the Executive team to manage the business and achieve company goals and objectives. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of Produce Distribution Operations Management experience.
• A sincere passion for positively impacting people and making work, fun.
• Insightful, meaningful, relevant leadership skills
• The ability to inspire others, and the determination to actualize that ability.
