Plant Manager

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plant Manager is completely responsible for the successful operation of the facility; will develop and execute plans to ensure the facility is of reasonable profit; and will accomplish all objectives through planning, motivating, and coordinating activities of all departments.

  • Directing supervisors and oversee 100+ employees in the facility. Manage all packing operations, quality control, personal and maintenance.
  • Manage and Review Production data daily, and daily costs
  • Responsible for overall facility operation, function, and appearance.
  • Manage employees’ schedules and communicate daily with your supervisors
  • Ensure department supervisors are training and supervising employees for optimum effectiveness.
  • Follow up on any employee issue, enforce company rules, communicate policies and procedures to all employees and ensure they are understood and followed.
  • Provide positive leadership to build employee morale
  • Compile weekly inventory carton, packing counts and establish reorder points
  • Maintain the operation and upkeep of packing equipment and monitor and safeguard company assets (i.e. company vehicles, inventory, and equipment).
  • Assist with the sanitation operations and the shop operations
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect business operations.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Ability to work weekends
  • Must maintain flexible schedule
  • Must be able to handle job stress and interact well with others
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Any Other duties as assigned
  • Follow all food safety company rules and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

  • Excellent written and verbal English/Spanish language skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, including establishment of priorities and commitment to deadlines.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft and outlook is required.

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 DOE
