IT Manager

A privately held fresh produce distributor, based in Texas, is looking to fill an IT Manager position. The company is a well-established organization, supplying Foodservice/Retail and National Accounts, recognized brand label products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• MUST have knowledge of both Microsoft and Cisco operating systems.
• Produce Pro, EDI, Networking (LAN, WAN, VLAN)
• Ability to manage multiple locations of the company’s computer/internet related operations.
• Direct the implantation and upgrades to all of the company’s software and hardware equipment.
• Coordinate and plan all information technology requirements within the various departments.
• Work effectively with other employees to ensure effective IT operations throughout the organization..

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred
• At least 3-5 years relevant work experience in the Produce business Certification(s)

• This is a family-run business that runs a 24-7 operation. A positive, can-do attitude is essential. 

Compensation: DOE, Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K
