We are looking for a Bilingual Assistant HR Manager to support our Human Resources team and help shape the employee experience across the organization.
Position Summary
The Bilingual Assistant HR Manager plays a key role in supporting HR operations and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish, a strong understanding of California labor laws, and a passion for employee engagement and organizational development. You'll work closely with team leads, supervisors, and employees across the company to ensure compliance, resolve issues, and build a strong, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the HR Manager in day-to-day operations of the HR department
- Serve as a cultural ambassador, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to address concerns and provide guidance
- Conduct bilingual employee onboarding, orientations, and training
- Assist with employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure company policies and procedures comply with California employment laws
- Maintain and update HRIS systems and employee records
- Assist in recruitment, interviews, and selection processes
- Support health and safety programs and compliance efforts
- Translate HR-related documents and communications (English ↔ Spanish)
- Support internal communications and company-wide events
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
- 2–4 years of HR experience
- Experience in Agriculture is required.
- Solid knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance practices
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to build trust and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Passion for building a positive workplace culture and improving employee experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
