NTN has an immediate opening is our Automotive Aftermarket business unit for AAM Western Regional Sales Manager.
The primary responsibility of this individual is to manage a sales team and to supervise the sales process for NTN’s automotive aftermarket and the HD truck aftermarket business segments in the western United States. Success is measured by achieving assigned sales and profitability targets for their region as well as by the acquisition of new business.
Major Responsibilities
Managing a sales team to achieve the sales forecast and gross margin targets, for the assigned Region.
Creating and executing a sales plan that achieves the sales forecast.
Coaching and training the sales team to achieve optimum performance.
Gaining new key accounts and increasing sales at assigned key accounts.
Performing sales planning and sales analysis using CRM tools and other standard processes.
Producing high quality, complex, written communications and reports that support NTNs aftermarket business.
Developing / maintaining strong working relationships with NTN customers and internal stakeholders.
Representing NTN in aftermarket professional organizations and using influence to help shape future industry developments.
Managing and executing processes to maintain pricing, gross margin and customer payments.
Completing other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
4 year undergraduate required.
Must have automotive aftermarket sales and sales manager experience.
Automotive key account management experience required.
Strong people management skills and keen attention to detail.
Established working relationships with warehouse distributors / program groups.
Superior written communication skills. Ability to write complex reports.
Knowledge of HD truck aftermarket business
Knowledge of suspension, wheel bearing and hub products.
Prefer candidates located in Chicago area or Western United States.
