Turn2Partners

Technical Lead, Salesforce and Mulesoft

Turn2Partners - Washington, DC, United States

This Turn2 client, a hybrid SaaS company, is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead to drive CRM solution design, guide development strategy, and mentor a team of engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role, not full-time coding, but deeply involved in building, architecting, and scaling CRM and integration systems that power enterprise operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong Salesforce expertise, direct MuleSoft experience, and a background that blends technical execution with architectural thinking and team mentorship.

Why This Role Stands Out:

  • High visibility: Own and evolve mission-critical systems tied directly to business growth.

  • Hands-on leadership: Blend solution design with direct technical contributions.

  • Strategic scope: Shape long-term architecture while mentoring developers and influencing cross-functional priorities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the technical lead for Salesforce and MuleSoft initiatives—balancing hands-on development with architectural guidance.

  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, ensuring code quality, solution alignment, and skills growth.

  • Contribute to system integrations, data flows, and automation between core platforms and services.

  • Partner with IT leadership to align platform roadmaps with enterprise goals.

  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on technical work (primarily Apex and MuleSoft integrations).

  • Support certification growth and technical excellence across the team.

What You Bring:

  • Salesforce Developer (Dev 1) certification required; additional certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Developer) preferred.

  • Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, and declarative tools.

  • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft, including building and maintaining complex integrations.

  • Ability to serve as a strategic thought partner while remaining grounded in implementation details.

  • Strong communication skills and a track record of technical mentorship or team leadership.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in enterprise SaaS or B2B environments.

  • Exposure to hybrid integration strategies and multi-cloud CRM environments.

  • Demonstrated growth through technical certifications and project ownership.

Location & Flexibility:

  • Hybrid role based in the DC Metro area; 2 days/week onsite.
